Sealed brushless technology
SPAL USA has expanded its SBL300 Product range to include both higher and lower power brushless motors to fit a variety of additional applications. With its IP6K9K waterproof and dust proof construction, the company’s high efficiency SBL300 features integrated power and signal electronics, a low inertia inner rotor, reduced axial dimensions, low noise as well as resistance to vibration. SPAL USA’s low mass brushless SBL300 incorporates many features such as rare earth magnets, a soft-start algorithm to eliminate high start-up inrush current, and protection against a host of potential motor hazards. The device can be customized to fit specific OEM programs. Typical applications include power train primary cooling, HVAC, auxiliary or remote cooling, engine bay ventilation, battery and electronics cooling of hybrid and electric vehicles, and high-duty applications that exceed the life capability of typical brush-type motors.
